Hello, and welcome!

I am Kaisa Ryding, an Alumni from Penny W. Stamps School of Art and Design, a part of the University of Michigan, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a minor in Museum Studies

Currently, I live in Ann Arbor, Michigan, but I'm native to the Upper Penninsula.

I specialize in illustration and concept art for narratives, with a background in natural science drawing. As an avid illustrator, I've developed a wide-ranged portfolio and am always willing to experiment with style. My current favorite medium is traditional ink and digital painting.

I am involved in wild bird conservation and help rehabilitate orphaned and injured birds.

As an amateur ornithologist, I've worked at University of Michigan's Museum of Natural History for the exhibit design for Project Passenger Pigeon.
